Home and Health Service
Our brand new service, enables us to continue to provide practical support to young people, after they have got their own tenancy.
We are delighted to have secured funding towards this essential new service, from MHCLG via homeless link
Our community based Home and Health Service, will help young people to move into, and maintain their own tenancies, living independently. The service will provide practical help, for example with money management, but will also provide more personal support, to suit each individuals needs.
The service will support with:

Getting tenancy ready
Help them to understand what is required when living in your own property. Budgeting, skills development etc. Understanding their housing rights/ tenancy agreement.

Education, Training and Employment
Help them to understand what is required when living in your own property. Budgeting, skills development etc. Understanding their housing rights/ tenancy agreement.

Health and Mental Wellbeing
Supporting them to access health services e.g GP, Optitians; and also support with their general wellbeing.

Engaging with their new community
Help them to know their local area and find support networks.

Skills Development
Support them with developing household skills, budgeting etc.
